Welcome to LokiTalk.com (“LokiTalk” or “the Website”), owned and operated by Björn Morén (“Owner”). By accessing or using LokiTalk, you (“User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“TOS”). If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the Website.

TL;DR

• Strong free speech commitment, limited by US law
• Sexualized content, impersonation and doxxing are not allowed
• You can't delete your posts, even if you close your account
• You must be at least 13 years old

1. User Accounts

1.1 Eligibility: Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you affirm that you meet this requirement.

1.2 Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

1.3 TOS violations: LokiTalk reserves the right to ban or close accounts for violations of these TOS.

1.4 Account termination. Users can close their account at any time, however the User Content will still remain (see 2.2).

2. Content Ownership and Usage

2.1 Ownership: Users retain ownership of all content they create and post on LokiTalk, including text and images (“User Content”).

2.2 License to LokiTalk: By posting User Content, you grant LokiTalk a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store your content on the Website. Users cannot remove their User Content from the Website, even if they close their account.

2.3 Responsibility for Content: You are solely responsible for your User Content. By posting, you represent and warrant that your content does not violate these TOS or any applicable laws.

3. Free Speech Policy

3.1 General Principles: LokiTalk is committed to free speech. Users may post text and images freely, provided the content does not include the prohibited speech listed below. We encourage free debate and a wide range of opinions.

3.2 Prohibited Speech: The following types of content are prohibited:

• Incitement to Violence: Content that is intended and likely to incite imminent unlawful acts of violence.
• Graphic violence: Media depicting excessive gore, violent crimes, or images related to the moment of death or severe physical harm.
• Sexualized Content: LokiTalk does not permit any content designed to create sexual arousal. This includes but is not limited to pornography, sexually explicit images, full or partial nudity, or any form of sexualized text or imagery.
• Doxxing: See section 6 below.
• Copyright Infringement: Content that violates the copyright of another party. This includes unauthorized use or reproduction of copyrighted works without proper permission.
• Other violations of U.S. free speech laws: Any content that does not comply with U.S. free speech laws.

4. Impersonation

4.1 Prohibited Activity: Users may not impersonate real living people or business entities in a deceptive manner.

4.2 Usernames: Registering a username (@name) of a well-known person when you are not that person, is prohibited and will result in banning. Registering a username of a well-known business entity when you are not a representative of that business entity, is prohibited and will result in banning.

4.3 Clear Identification: If you impersonate someone or something you are not, your username and alias must clearly indicate this, such as including the word “satire” or a similar disclaimer.

5. Passivity and Username Squatting

5.1 Inactive accounts. LokiTalk reserves the right to close inactive accounts that have no significant content.

5.2 Username Squatting. Registering usernames with the intent to reserve, hold, or sell them for profit, or to prevent others from using them is not allowed. This will result in a closed account, and the usernames may be reclaimed and reused by others at our discretion.

6. Privacy and Doxxing

6.1 User Privacy: Users may not disclose personal information about other users without their explicit consent. This includes but is not limited to names, addresses, phone numbers, pictures, or any other identifying information, unless such information is already widely known or publicly available.

6.2 Enforcement: LokiTalk takes doxxing seriously. Violators will have their accounts immediately banned or closed. Additionally, LokiTalk will actively assist users who have been doxxed by providing information that can lead to the prosecution of offenders, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Enforcement and Penalties

7.1 Violations: Violating these TOS may result in actions including but not limited to content removal, closing of the account, or permanent banning from the Website.

7.2 Reporting Violations: Users may report violations of these TOS through the mechanisms provided on the Website. LokiTalk will review and act on reports at its discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Warranty: LokiTalk is provided “as is” and “as available.” LokiTalk makes no warranties or representations regarding the reliability, accuracy, or security of the Website.

8.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, LokiTalk and its Owner shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Website, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to the Terms of Service

9.1 Amendments: LokiTalk reserves the right to update or modify these TOS at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and the continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

10.1 Jurisdiction: These TOS are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

10.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these TOS shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court located in the United States.
